Essex Property Trust has purchased a 3.6 acre parcel next to the West Dublin BART site for $5 million dollars. Previously owned by Windstar Communities, Inc. the apartment site is entitled for 309 residential units but fell back to the bank hands before being purchased by Essex. Windstar paid $17.4 million for the raw land in March of 2006.
