Denica’s Cafe, a very popular bakery and eatery on Dougherty Road in Dublin is opening a new location on North Livermore Avenue in Livermore. The cafe will be taking over the former Denny’s Cafe, the short lived venture adjacent from Strings Italian Cafe, near Home Depot, Wal-Mart, and In-N-Out Burger.

Denny’s left behind a fully furnished restaurant making the approximately 3,500 square foot spot a much easier transition for a new operator. I have heard Denica’s will be open by November. In addition to Livermore, Denica’s is rumored to have inked a deal in Walnut Creek. The growth of this local eatery is further indication of the strengthening commercial real estate market.

My favorite is their snicker-doodle cookies and you can’t go wrong with their entire lunch menu. Congrats to Denica’s on the continued growth and success!

    Yeah they already opened on Oak Grove rd in Walnit Creek, right next door to Panda Express. Since they opend last week 10/17/2013 the’ve had good walk in business, so much so, that Panda Express has had a 10% drop in business. I know I’m one of the managers that work at Panda. I can see why, very good food, not to bad pricing, excellent menu and very inviting decor.
