🎉 New Year, New Openings (and Some Closures) 🎉

Every new year brings a fresh wave of changes in the local business scene, and 2025 is no exception! The Bay Area Commercial Real Estate market is active, with retail leasing having a strong performance coming out of 2024. Here’s a quick roundup of the openings and closures you’ll see in the coming months.

🔒 Closures:

• Kohl’s, Pleasanton: Sadly, this store is part of a larger corporate closure plan. Time to snag those last-minute deals before it’s gone!
• The Last Word, Livermore Valley Plaza, Livermore: Don’t panic—we’re hearing whispers of a rebrand. Fingers crossed for something great!
• Taco Bell, Danville (Diablo Rd): This one’s closed its doors, but no worries—the Taco Bell Cantina in downtown Danville is still serving up your favorites.

🚪 Openings:

• Philz Coffee, Pleasanton: Taking over the former KFC space on Santa Rita Rd, Philz is bringing its signature coffee magic to town! ☕
• The Breakfast Club, Livermore: Under construction at the Livermore Legacy project (1934 First St), this spot is expected to open this spring. Brunch, anyone? 🥞
• Paris Baguette, Livermore: Moving into the former Beach Hut Deli space (1772 First St), this bakery is set to delight us with its pastries soon. 🥐
• Stampede, Livermore: The Vine Center is bringing us a country-themed bar and restaurant in the former Buffalo Wild Wings (1790 First St). Yeehaw—it’s opening this spring! 🤠
• Meadowlark Dairy, Livermore: Pleasanton’s favorite dairy is making its way to Livermore, opening soon in the former Bank of the West (2287 2nd St). Ice cream lovers, rejoice! 🍦
